We have a full time Agronomist, who provides the link between the growers and Glens of Antrim Potatoes in developing and producing the most suitable varieties for our various customers and end consumers.
Our Agronomy function maintains contact with the growers throughout the year to produce the most suitable varieties according to soil conditions, seed quality and weather patterns, as well as planning for harvesting and future volumes.
Assured Produce accreditation is required to be able to deliver and pack potatoes for major retailers which Glens of Antrim Potatoes assists with. COSHH assessments, HACCP plan and recorded crop history sheets form an integral part of this process.
We are committed to providing all the Agronomic advice required to achieve the production of high quality produce. Producers should be prepared to take a professional approach in partnership with Glens of Antrim Potatoes.
